NTUEE Light Dance 2021
NTUEE Light Dance (台大電機光舞) is a student-run production where everything — software, hardware, costumes, props, choreography — is built from scratch by students in NTU’s Department of Electrical Engineering. Inspired by light dance performances abroad, the group develops LED and optical-fiber wearable systems that synchronize with music and choreography to create a glowing stage show performed entirely in the dark. All dancers are EE students as well.
The Story — Suit Men vs. Ninjas
The 2021 performance is a showdown between two factions: suit men and ninjas. The sharply dressed suit men face off against stealthy ninjas in a battle that plays out through choreography, glowing costumes, and illuminated props — including a full-sized torii gate and a LED katana.
